The Slickdeals Student Scholarship Program (4/30/16)


The Slickdeals Student Scholarship Program is an opportunity for students to save their money during college. The program gives two scholarships for the Fall 2016 semester. Each scholarship is given in an amount up to $5,000. The scholarship can be used to pay for tuition, textbooks, supplies, and other fees. Slickdeals looks to give the scholarship to exceptional students who are deal-savvy. Slickdeals believes that the scholarship will help students focus more on their academics than their financial stress. 


  • Must be a U.S citizen, living in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
  • Must be at least 18 years old in most states.
  • Must be currently registered for a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited university for a full-time undergraduate program in the U.S for the fall of 2016 or an equivalent term.
  • No purchase necessary
  • Need a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must submit an original 500 word essay on your best money-saving tips for college.

Deadline: All entries must be received on or before 11:59pm central time on April 30th, 2016.

Ten finalists will be featured on the Slickdeals site for entries to be voted on by community members. Additional consideration will be given to the top performers by the Slickdeals Scholarship Committee. Keep in mind that public votes are not the final determination of the winner. This scholarship is a great way to earn money that can be put towards your college fees. Being apart of the Slickdeals program will also be a great way to make connections, build your resume, and learn to save your money in the future.
