ULAMP Summer Internship (5/16/16)

Screen Shot 2016-05-05 at 4.44.39 PM.pngThe Unaccompanied Latin American Minor Project is now accepting applications for its summer internship program. The program runs from June 13th – August 19th. The U-LAMPers are CUNY students that provide support to Latin American teenage migrants in the New York City area who are currently in removal proceedings. During this internship you will attend and translate in court, make phone calls to youths, organize and attend activities and become and overall advocate for the youth

Why to apply:

  • Provide social support to New York’s most vulnerable child and teen migrants
  • Join a team of CUNY students, New York Law School students staff and professors
  • Meet and network with NYC attorneys
  • Develop and improve your professional skills
  • Earn a $1,500 stipend

Requirements:

  • Full time JJay student, Fall 2016
  • 2.75 cumulative GPA
  • Available to work 12 hours a week
