The War Resisters League’s Freeman Internship is now accepting applications! The War Resisters League is an organization dedicated to antimilitarist projects and police demilitarization. Interns will work with the Communications & Development Associate and Coordinator to support daily operations. Day to day operations may include helping to plan fundraising drives, organize volunteers to participate in phone banking activities, and prepare campaign messaging and fundraising response scripts. - Experience or education in campaign-related grassroots fundraising strategy
- Knowledge of current social movement landscape
- Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills are a plus
- Able to work 20 hours a week for 13 weeks
