Volunteer to Protect the Vote with Common Cause

common-cause-logo-01

Common Cause is a nonpartisan grassroots organization whose mission is to uphold the core values of American Democracy. They are currently recruiting volunteers to answer voters’ questions at polling places and to assist voters in reporting any bad practices at polling places to election authorities on Election Day. Common Cause is specifically targeting areas where competitive races are taking place and voters have historically faced barriers to voting.

Prior to Election Day, volunteers will need to register for a 90-minute training where they will be provided with all the information and tools necessary to be a poll monitor. After volunteers complete their training, poll monitors will take a two-hour shift at a polling place in their community on Election Day.
