Students meet twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:55pm-8:30pm. On Mondays members of the course will work together to complete assignments related to providing senior management at the fictitious Goliath National Bank with a risk assessment of the bank’s e-trading system. Students will then present a comprehensive insider threat management program at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

On Wednesdays students will meet with industry experts both online and in person. This is a great opportunity to expand your network of experts who can provide references when applying for jobs, and may even invite students for mock interviews, dress for success workshops, and resume writing sessions!

FAQ’s:

  • Do I have to be a Computer Science major to apply?  Nope, this course is open to students in all majors from schools across CUNY and beyond.  We are looking for a group of students with a diverse set of skills.  No prerequisites required!
  • Can I get credit? Yes! You can earn 400-level Computer Science credit (3 credits)
  • Are graduate students eligible? Yes! You can earn 700-level Computer Science credit  (3 credits)
