The Coro Fellows Program in New York has four major components: field placements, seminars, leadership breakfasts, and focus weeks.
Placements allow Coro Fellows to gain exposure to varied sectors and institutions in New York City and offer participants the opportunity to build professional networks.
Weekly Seminars introduce Coro Fellows to tools and frameworks that increase their ability to contribute to an effective and collaborative group and lead change. Additionally, Coro Fellows explore New York City through experiential activities that help them better understand New York neighborhoods, organizations and key policy issues facing the city.
Leadership Interviews offer Coro Fellows access to an influential cross-section of city leaders, helping them gain insight and diverse perspectives on the challenges of leadership.
Focus Weeks immerse Coro Fellows in the exploration of a single topic for a full week. Topics include New York state government, media, public finance and communications.
